When I started working in the wound care world, there was a lot that I did not know and a lot that had not been taught to me or even my colleagues. So, I spent a lot of time searching out information and finding mentors who were willing to teach. It’s been a 15-year journey of clinical experience, meetings, journals, presentations, lecturing, and ultimately mentoring my other colleagues. It would have been great in the very beginning if I had somebody at that level who could condense things into a series of teaching modules. It would be a huge time and energy saver. And so that’s why I put it together the Wound Whisperer Master Class. Somewhere along the line, if they haven’t already, healthcare practitioners will face a wound and wonder “What the hell am I gonna do?” …a situation where some typical bandaging won’t to the job. Visit the Wound Whisperer website to learn more about becoming a master wound healer. After all, no patient should unnecessarily suffer.
